Side by side in the firelight, and Sakura decides the moment is finally there to be seized... and seize it she does
Naruto is meant to look slightly awkward, in an 'omg I've just been seized' kind of way.

For some reason colours tend to look different on screens other than my own, so I hope it looks OK. Used a ref to help with part of the pose in the original sketch. And yet it still came out weird. Grrr.

I'm entering this in the contest over at H&E [link] (I wanted to paint Sakura making a move, and then after I'd started discovered 'first move' was one of the prompts )

There are two reasons for the title -
First is that there's a certain feeling of warmth and togetherness you get from singing round a campfire at night, and it's a similar feeling that came over these two and inspired Sakura to make a grab for her dearest teammate. I guess it's their ability to share that kind of warmth and lift each other's hearts that makes me so attached to this pairing <3
Second is a joke. Figure it out for yourself
